Testing Tips

bulletMake sure your child gets a good night's sleep the night before
bulletEat a meal or snack before coming to test.
bulletDon't stress your child or make a big "deal" out of testing
bulletEncourage them to "do your best" and let them know how proud you are of their accomplishments this past year
bulletIf you have multiple children testing bring something fun for them to do while they wait
bulletParents don't worry your child will do fine, and if they need additional help in an area you can concentrate on it over the summer.
bulletIf your child is afraid to test or you feel it wouldn't be in their best interest to use the test results you can always have a portfolio evaluation done.
bulletAbove all else let them know that you love them (no matter how they do on their test)

If you have any questions regarding testing that aren't answered on the testing page please call or email Rosewood Educational Services .
