 | Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep the night before |
 | Eat a meal or snack before coming to test. |
 | Don't stress your child or make a big "deal" out of
testing |
 | Encourage them to "do your best"
and let them know how proud you are of
their accomplishments this past year |
 | If you have multiple children testing bring something fun for them
to do while they wait |
 | Parents don't worry your child will do fine, and if they need
additional help in an area you can concentrate on it over the
summer. |
 | If your child is afraid to test or you feel it wouldn't be in
their best interest to use the test results you can always have a
portfolio evaluation done. |
 | Above all else let them know that you love them (no matter how
they do on their test) |
